Overnight Backpack Trip in Wauconda

This is a short, ~6 mile round trip, backpacking trip in Wauconda. The Troop has made this trip in the past.

We meet at one of our houses in a nearby subdivision with easy access to the Millenium Trail. From there, we finalize preparations - split up gear and food - and then backpack to the Youth Group campsite in Lakewood. This trip can easily be extended to a longer trip if we have a place to meet along the trail further away.
